 Wishbones
for Pets® has come to Central Florida! This
pet food and supply drive will benefit local non-profit animal charities: Florida
United Feline Friends (F.L.U.F.F.I.), Pet Rescue by Judy, Candy’s Cats, the
Central Florida Animal Pantry, as well as The Haven and Back to Nature wildlife
rehabilitation centers. Animal
Companion Pet Sitting Service, LLC®, and Warm Hearts and Cold Noses,
LLC, are co-sponsoring this local pet food and supply drive as part of the
national Wishbones for Pets® initiative - in the months of October
and November 2009. Pookies Bow Wow Bakery (both locations) as well as over
20 other local businesses will serve as donation sites. Wishbones for Pets® is to
pet sitters what Toys for Tots® is to the Marines. Since 2004,
professional pet sitters from the US and Canada have sponsored the Wishbones
for Pets® pet food, supply and fund drive - approximately six weeks
prior to Thanksgiving - to help feed “pets in need” during the holiday season
and beyond - with all donations and proceeds going to the sitters’ favorite
