Volunteers and fosters are always needed and appreciated.

Volunteer opportunities include helping to clean at the Florida Mall and E. Colonial PETCO locations.  We showcase several cats there on a daily basis, but that means they must be cleaned on a daily basis!

Other opportunities include helping out at our adoption events.  Saturdays from 11-2 at the Florida Mall locationa nd 11-5 at the E. Colonial location.  

Do you have marketing or fundraising experience?  We are always looking for new innovative ways to market and fundraise.  Medical procedures can be expensive, above and beyond the cost of spay/neute, vaccinations and FeLV/FIV testing.  the more money we can raise, the more animals we can help.  We would like to offer funds for low cost spay/neuter to the public in need, but we can only do that if we can raise enough money.

Fostering is a fulfilling experience where you get to take in a cat or a litter of kittens and raise them until they are ready for adoption.  As part of the experience, fosters are required to pay for food, litter and daily necessities.  FLUFFI pays for all the medical expenses that will pop up.  This is a great opportunity for college students, elderly people, and those that are not expecting to stay around for a long time.  Fosters are responsible for keeping all medical appointments that are scheduled and bringing animals to adoption venues on the weekends, although we will try to be as accomodating as we can.
